Somewhere between consistency and chaos is where your palate truly comes alive.
Meet Bee
I was raised in a family where food was everything—part restaurant, part backyard garden, always full of people. I grew up busing tables, baking alongside my Granny, and learning early that the best meals come from a mix of hard work, good ingredients, and a sense of humour when things don’t go as planned.
My dad taught me to respect food—from growing it to cooking it—while my mom showed me how to bring people together around the table. In our home, Sunday dinners were a ritual: full plates, open doors, and loud, lingering conversation.
That foundation led me into the hospitality world, studying at George Brown and working with some of Canada’s top restaurant groups. Along the way, I developed a deep love for pairing—food with wine, ingredients with seasons, and meals with meaningful moments. My journey eventually led me into the world of cheese, where I continue to learn, taste, and explore.
Today, my focus is simple: creating recipes worth keeping, highlighting incredible local products, and helping others bring thoughtful, welcoming hospitality into their own homes. From my kitchen in Collingwood, with my husband and two kids always close by, I share the flavours and stories of Southern Georgian Bay—meant to be enjoyed, shared, and passed around the table.
